Itinerary update and prayer request
11月8日
親愛的代禱勇士:
感謝主! 謝謝以禱告支持的代禱勇士們，2024年台灣台南短宣隊已完成2天和台南教會交流，探訪永新之家幸福農場的活動，以及5天在明德戒治分監福音佈道的服事行程。隊員們也已分別按照各自計劃前往下一個目的地。
短宣隊在過去一週共服事了58位同學。他們分別來自戒一班(48位)和農藝班 (共10位)。經由老師們在課堂上的呼召，有超過25位同學們舉手表明願意跟隨耶穌來走回家的路。其中已有14位同學於小組時間和個別輔導中，在老師們的帶領下禱告決志，表明願意接受洗禮。駐監牧者胡傳道已將「洗禮申請表」 交由監所主管發放。胡傳道亦會持續跟進所有尚未決志的同學都。洗禮典禮預 定在12月中下旬舉行。 願主成就!
另外在週二服事期間，永新2位更生弟兄配搭短宣隊3位老師前往新收班，為14 位新入監的同學們進行共4小時的「生命見證分享」課程。這些新同學將於11 月中旬有機會進入戒一班開始接受教化上課。求主繼續使用永新更生弟兄們能回頭堅固在監服刑的同學們，進而帶領更多失喪的靈魂回到神的家。 在監服事期間，每位短宣隊隊員也把握了任何能夠與監獄服勤人員交談的機會，為將福音的好處告訴他們。求主差派更多的工人前來收割!
Dear Prayer Warriors,
Praise the Lord! Thanks to the prayer warriors who supported them with prayer, the 2024 Taiwan Tainan Short-term Mission Team has completed 2 days of communication with Tainan churches, a visit to Yongxin Home Happy Farm, and a 5-day evangelistic mission in the Mingde Prison. The team members have also gone to their next destination according to their own plans.
The short-term mission team has served a total of 58 students in the past week. They came from the first class (48 students) and the agronomy class (10 students in total). More than 25 students raised their hands to show their willingness to follow Jesus on their way home. Among them, 14 students have made a prayer decision under the guidance of their teachers during group time and individual counseling, and expressed their willingness to be baptized. Pastor Hu has handed over the baptism application form to the prison supervisor for distribution. Pastor Wu will continue to follow up with all students who have not yet made up their minds. The baptism ceremony is expected to take place in mid-to-late December. May it be done upon God’s blessing!
In addition, during the service on Tuesday, two rehabilitated brothers from Yongxin and three teachers from the short-term mission team went to the new class to conduct a four-hour “Life Testimony Sharing” course for 14 newly admitted students. These new students will have the opportunity to enter the first class in mid-November to begin their indoctrination classes. Pray that the Lord will continue to use the brothers who just accepted Christ to return to strengthen the students who are serving their sentences in prison, and then lead more lost souls back to God’s family. During their time in prison, each member of the short-term mission team also took every opportunity they could to talk to the prison staff to tell them about the benefits of the gospel. Pray that the Lord will send more workers to the harvest!

親愛的代禱勇士：
“舉目向田觀看，莊稼已經熟了，可以收割了。” 約翰福音4:35
代禱事項：
1) 為短宣隊最後一天的服事禱告，求聖靈引領，賜恩加力，祝福我們手所做的工。
2) 為明天的敬拜、信息及真心告白的環節禱告，求主使用每個環節，將真理和愛帶給受刑人。
3) 為在刑人願意接受耶穌基督為個人救主禱告。
4) 為短宣隊員有機會能將福音的種子撒在監獄工作人員的心中。
5) 為短宣隊員的回程順利平安禱告。
6) 請繼續為陳蓓父親手術後的恢復和醫治禱告！

Prayer Notes:
1) Pray for the last day of service for the short-term mission team, asking for the Holy Spirit to lead and bless the work of our hands.
2) Pray for tomorrow’s session of worship, message and confession, and pray that the Lord will use each session to bring truth and love to the inmate.
3) Pray for the inmate’s willingness to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
4) Give short-term mission team members the opportunity to sow the seeds of the gospel in the hearts of prison staff.
5) Pray for a smooth and safe return journey for the short-term mission members.
6) Please continue to pray for Chen Bei’s father’s recovery and healing after surgery!

親愛的代禱勇士：
感謝主! 短宣隊第三天的服事在主的看顧保守下圓滿結束。
透過今天兩堂的信息:
1. 回家的路: 將耶穌基督救贖的恩典說明清楚，耶穌是唯一的道路。
2. 天父的愛: 天父的愛是無條件的接納，天父的愛是主動的，天父的愛裡有饒恕、憐憫、仁慈、恩典，天父的愛是信實、永不改變的。感謝主! 有超過20位在刑人在聽了信息後舉手回應天父的愛。
代禱事項：
1）為短宣隊的同心合意禱告，求聖靈引領，賜恩加力，祝福我們手所做的工。
2) 為明天的敬拜、信息、見證、問題探索和小組分享時間禱告，求主使用每個環節，將真理和愛帶給受刑人。
3）為在刑人願意接受耶穌基督為個人救主禱告。
4) 求主幫助每位隊員和在現場職勤的管理人員建立友好的關係，進而有機會能將福音的種子播種在監獄工作人員中。
5）為每個隊員的家人禱告，求神保守看顧。
6）感謝主，謝謝弟兄姊妹的禱告，陳蓓父親手術後第二天血液測試肝功和膽指數接近正常，請繼續為他的恢復和醫治禱告！
Dear Prayer Warriors,
Praise the Lord! The third day of the mission team was successfully concluded under the care and protection of the Lord.
Through the messages of today’s two lectures:
1. The Way Home: Make it clear that Jesus Christ is the only way to redeem His grace.
2. Heavenly Father’s Love: Heavenly Father’s love is unconditional acceptance, Heavenly Father’s love is active, Heavenly Father’s love includes forgiveness, compassion, kindness, and grace, and Heavenly Father’s love is faithful and unchangeable. Praise the Lord! More than 20 inmates raised their hands in response to the Father’s love after hearing the message.
Prayer Request:
1) Pray for the unity of the short-term mission team, for the guidance of the Holy Spirit, for the encouragement and blessing of the work of our hands.
2) Pray for tomorrow’s time for worship, messages, testimonies, problem exploration, and group sharing, and pray that the Lord will use each session to bring truth and love to the inmates.
3) Pray for the inmate’s willingness to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
4) Pray that each team member will have a good relationship with the on-site managers so that they will have the opportunity to sow the seeds of the gospel among the prison staff.
5) Pray for the family members of each team member and ask God to keep and watch for them.
6) Thank you, thank you, brothers and sisters, thank you for your prayers, Chen Bei’s father’s blood test liver function and bile index were close to normal the day after the operation, please continue to pray for his recovery and healing!

感謝主! 短宣隊第二天的服事在主的看顧保守下圓滿結束。
透過今天的信息(人生如夢一場空,大夢初醒)和戲劇演出(浪子回頭) 將悔改與信心的主題帶入。
當天結束後，短宣隊參觀了永新幸福農場，目前他們栽種的果樹有芭樂及芒果。
Thank the Lord! The second day of service of the short-term mission team ended successfully under the care and protection of the Lord.
Through today’s message (Life is like a dream in vain, awakening from a big dream) and drama performance (The Prodigal Son Returns), the themes of repentance and faith are brought into the story.
At the end of the day, the short-term mission team visited Yongxin Happy Farm, where they currently plant guava and mango trees.

5）感謝主，陳蓓父親今天膽管疏通手術非常成功！謝謝大家的代禱。請繼續為他明天抽血化驗，肝功能和膽的指數恢復正常禱告！求主保守他身體和體力的恢復。也求神保守他膽囊的結石不要再掉入膽管，主動脈的血腫和潰瘍得到神的醫治！
Prayer Request:
1) Pray for the unity of the short-term mission team, and ask the Holy Spirit to guide, give grace and strength, and bless the work of our hands.
2) Pray for tomorrow’s worship, message, question exploration, and group sharing time. Ask the Lord to use every link to bring truth into the hearts of the prisoners.
3) Pray for those in prison to be willing to accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior.
4) Pray for each team member’s family and ask God to protect and take care of them.
5) Thank the Lord, Chen Bei’s father’s bile duct unblocking surgery was very successful today! Thank you all for your prayers. Please continue to pray that his blood test will be taken tomorrow and his liver function and gallbladder index will return to normal! Ask the Lord to keep his body and strength restored. He also prayed that God would protect his gallbladder stones from falling into the bile ducts, and that the hematoma and ulcers in his aorta would be healed by God!

親愛的代禱勇士：
感謝主! 12位短宣隊員和永新中途之家的胡子琳傳道及2位更生弟兄，一行15人第一天在明德戒治分監的服事圓滿結束。
透過介紹主恩堂的短片, 林牧師的鼓勵以及短宣隊員的自我介紹, 讓在刑人對我們有初步的認識。
緊接著上,下午的兩堂敬拜，信息及小組分享，將探訪的目的-耶穌介紹給受刑人。
當天結束後，我們參觀了永新中途之家，了解了他們的日常生活起居的地方。
Dear Prayer Warriors,
Praise the Lord! 12 members of the short-term mission team, Pastor Hu Zilin and 2 rehabilitated brothers from Yongxin Halfway House, a total of 15 of us went to the Mingde Prison. Our service was successfully completed the first day.
Through the introduction of the video of Christ’s Grace Church, the encouragement of Pastor Lam and the self-introduction of the members of the short-term mission team, the inmates had a preliminary understanding of us.
This was followed by two worship services in the morning and afternoon, with information and group sharing, introducing the purpose of the visit, Jesus, to the inmates.
At the end of the day, we visited the Wing Sun Halfway House and learned about their daily lives.

1）為每一個短宣隊員禱告，求聖靈充滿，賜恩加力。
2）為在刑人願意敞開心來分享禱告，求主的話語進入他們的心。
3）為我們明天第二天的服事禱告，求神保守我們來回路途的平安，求神使用我們。
4）為我們每個隊員的家人禱告，求神保守看顧。
5）為陳蓓父親明天(11/5)的膽管疏通手術禱告！求主憐憫，賜他平安，賜醫生智慧！
Prayer Request:
1) Pray for each member of the short-term mission team to be filled with the Holy Spirit and give grace and strength.
2) Pray for the inmates to open their hearts and share and pray that the Lord’s Word will enter their hearts.
3) Pray for our ministry tomorrow and the next day, pray that God will keep us safe on the way back and forth, and that God will use us.
4) Pray for the family members of each of our team members to be protected and watched over by God.
5) Pray for Chen Bei’s father’s bile duct dredging surgery tomorrow (11/5)! May the Lord have mercy on him, give him peace, and give wisdom to the doctors!
11月3日
親愛的代禱勇士：
經歷各樣的爭戰，我們台南短宣隊的隊員與11月2日晚上全部到達台南。感謝神！
11月3日早上，我們12位隊員和永興中途之家的弟兄一起參加了後甲教會的主日崇拜，下午我們去參觀了中途之家的鴨舍，然後去他們的‘帶我回家’工作坊，參觀，交流。
回到酒店後，我們一起準備明天第一天的服事和彼此代禱。
Dear Prayer Warriors,
After all kinds of battles, all the members of our Tainan short-term mission team arrived in Tainan on the evening of November 2. Thank God!
On the morning of November 3rd, 12 of us team members attended the Sunday service of the Houjia Church together with the brothers from the Wing Hing Midway House, and in the afternoon we went to visit the duck house of the Midway House, and then went to their ‘Take Me Home’ workshop to visit and communicate.
Back at the hotel, we prepared together for tomorrow’s first day of ministry and prayed for each other.
代禱事項：
1）為我們每一個隊員禱告，求聖靈充滿我們。
2）為在刑人員禱告，求聖靈松動他們的心土。
3）為我們明天第一天的服事禱告，求神保守我們來回路途的平安，求神使用我們。
4）為我們每個隊員的家人禱告，求神保守看顧。
5）為陳蓓父親的身體禱告，求神醫治他膽管的堵塞，使他的膽管暢通。保守姐妹能夠專 心並全程服事。
Praye Request:
1) Pray for each of our team members to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
2) Pray for the inmates to loosen their hearts with the Holy Spirit.
3) Pray for our ministry on the first day tomorrow, pray that God will keep us safe on the way back and forth, and that God will use us.
4) Pray for the family members of each of our team members to be protected and watched over by God.
5) Pray for Chen Bei’s father’s body, and ask God to heal the blockage of his bile ducts and make his bile ducts unblocked. Conservative sisters are able to concentrate and serve throughout.
